Undergraduates

SESUR
SESUR is a 10-week summer research program for Stanford students who are interested in further exploring a topic in the Earth Sciences. You will be paired with a graduate student or postdoctoral scholar mentor, go on field trips, complete a project together and prepare a presentation for the end of the summer.
SURGE
SURGE is an 8-week summer research program for students enrolled at or who have recently graduated from another U.S. institution. Students from underrepresented groups and students seeking a formal research experience for the first time are encouraged to apply. This program also includes weekly seminars, field trips, and GRE prep courses.
Bio-X USRP
Bio-X is Stanford's interdisciplinary biosciences institute, bringing together biomedical and life science researchers, clinicians, engineers, physicists, and computational scientists to answer complex questions about human health. Bio-X's Undergraduate Summer Research Program offers workshops, guided research experiences, and the opportunity to present your findings and network.
SSRP-AMGEN
A 9-week, fully funded research program for undergraduates at U.S. colleges and universities who intend to complete a Ph.D. in biosciences. Beyond research experience, this program includes GRE prep, professional development workshops, faculty lectures, guidance on graduate school applications and field trips.
VPUE
The Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education funds undergraduate research projects every year. You may apply for major grants if your project will be a full-time commitment or small grants if it will be a part-time project. In addition, you may apply for conference grants to travel and present research you have already completed.
